More reviews from Down Under

Not sure what happened or why we missed it, but Cat Politics has posted a review of Justin's recent show at The Studio Geelong. It includes a couple of nice photos and a nearly complete setlist. You can check it out here.

The Dwarf also has a review of Justin's recent show at the Republoic Bar and Cafe. It can be read here.

Aaron Farrant wrote a nice little column in praise of Justin in dBmagazine in anticipation of his show at The Gov in Adelaide, AU which you can read here.

Also, a nice video of Justin and Jason Isbell from the Zoo has popped up on YouTube. Many thanks to the uploader!

Thanks to Anna at Cat Politics for the photo!

Reviews from Down Under

At long last, some reviews and more photos from Justin's Australian tour.

TheDwarf.com.au has a review from The Factory Theatre in Enmore from April 9 and Steve Ford has a review of BluesFest over at No Depression.

One of my favorite sites, Flop Eared Mule (I love that name), posted a few Hipstamatic iPhone photos and a short review.
Photographer Stephen Booth has some incredible photos (including the one on the left) on his page.

Photos from BluesFest 21 and Boogie 4

It's ben rather quiet on the news from Australia. It's not the same as it was a few months ago when Justin was down there. Not sure why that is. Anyone from Australia have any links to share?

One of the few things I have been able to find are a few photos from BluesFest 21. They can be found at ABC Dig Music.

Photos from Boogie 4 can be found  on Pete Bakac's flickr page. After you are done there, check out some of his fine artwork at bakaxe.com. Pete says a painting of Justin is coming soon. I can't wait to see it!

Although not on the Ground Control Touring page just yet, Justin has been annouced as one of the performers for Boogie 4. For those unfamiliar, Boogie is a boutique camping festival that takes place over 3 days and 2 nights in Tallarook in regional Victoria (That's in Australia for those of us unfamiliar with that area). Advance tickets are avaialble right here.

At this point, I am unsure which day Justin will be playing, but he has been announced as a perfomer for the BluesFest 2010 which will be the same weekend.

Press: The Dominion Post - Love Is The Drug

The Dominion Post put one of the best interviews on the front page of it's Entertainment Section for October 9, 2009. Unfortunately, I was unable to find the article online, but I was able to obtain a .pdf file of the entire front page. If you skip over the other interviews I post here, then do yourself a favor and read this one. It's that good!

The pdf file can be found here

Thanks to Traci for sending this in!

Australia's Nu Country has an expanded review of The October 2, 2009 Thornbury Theatre show. The shorter version was posted here a couple of days ago.
